Jarrod Morris writes songs from a life split between the road and the work of shoeing horses. Raised in Decatur, Texas, he built a flexible horseshoeing business after returning from college in South Florida, giving him room to keep writing and touring.


His recordings include the 2019 debut West of East, produced by Lloyd Maines with contributions from Deryl Dodd and guitarist David Grissom, the 2022 Running on Change projects, and his 2025 album Day Money. The songs draw on the places, people, and work behind a life in Texas and the American West.
