Cristina Amaro brings the CTS Band’s Queen of Tejano Tribute to The Table at Madeley for a lively celebration of English- and Spanish-language music, delivered with the audience-focused energy that has become a hallmark of the production.

Born in Venezuela and now based in Houston, Amaro began studying ballet, music, and dance at an early age before pursuing Italian and vocal performance in Palermo, Sicily. She later earned a Bachelor of Arts in Music–Voice from the University of St. Thomas and has performed across classical singing, opera, musical theater, Latin music, Tejano, and pop with organizations including Houston Grand Opera, Opera in the Heights, and the Houston Latin-American Philharmonic.
