Sleepy Ray & The Mighty Blood comes to The Table at Madeley with a Texas gospel-blues sound led by Conroe guitarist, songwriter, and pastor Raymond McDonald, known onstage as Hon. Rev. Sleepy Ray.

Formed through Raymond and his brother Bobby’s work in the Vineyard music community, the band has toured in the United States and Europe and released recordings including Where the Highway Turns and newer material such as Bonafide Outasite. Their sound draws from blues and gospel while carrying the honky-tonk, country, rock, and soul character shaped by influences such as The Fabulous Thunderbirds, Asleep at the Wheel, and Stevie Ray Vaughan.
